In the early of October 2011, HP released new printer with the update firmware version. For this upgrade, it’s just for some monochrome LaserJet printers and all-in-one LaserJet printers with new function, such as: ePrint and AirPrint.

Until now, from HP website, we know following printer upgrade the firmware version:

1. HP 1102/1102W Series printer (CE285A), upgrade Airprint function.

2. HP M1212/M1217 Series printer(CE285A), upgrade ePint and AirPrint.

3. HP P1655/1560 Series printer (CE278A), upgrade Airprint function.

4. HP CP1025nw (CE310A-313A),upgrade ePint and AirPrint.

5. HP P1600, upgrade Airprint function.

6. HP Pro100 color MFP175nw, upgrade Airprint function.

In the future, HP will release more new printer with new firmware version.

For CB435/436/285A or CB435/436/278/285/505A/364A/255A universal chip, it maybe can't use for the new firmware printer, we suggest you use the dedicated chip. Until now, the dedicated chip no worried the firmware version problem
